Attached,please find <br /> two tables indicating the proposed 2003 budget increase and the impact of issuing Public <br /> Improvement Bonds for the construction improvements on the City's water and sewer <br /> rates. <br /> .r The attached tables were prepared by the Director of Finance with the assistances of Ehlers <br /> &Associates. The attached tables indicate two proposed increases to the water and sewer <br /> rates within the City of St. Anthony Village. The rate increases proposed are as follows: <br /> 0 <br /> I. 2003 Sanitary Sewer and Water Rate Adjustment. Alu <br /> On a quarterly basis, the Metropolitan Council Environmental Services bills the <br /> City of St. Anthony for the treatment of wastewater discharges. Earlier this year, <br /> the Metropolitan Council notified the City of St. Anthony that due to the wet <br /> conditions in the year 2002, the sanitary sewer flows measured from St. Anthony <br /> Village have increased significantly from the previous year. Therefore, the sanitary <br /> 1 sewer and water rates will be adjusted to cover the additional treatment costs of the <br /> { sanitary sewer flows.
