Childs said the <br /> 35 protests of neighboring residents had apparently forced the the <br /> 36 application for the above to be withdrawn at the March 9th Roseville <br /> 37 Council meeting. The Manager reported that one local developer <br /> 38 might be interested in erecting some one story townhomes on the site <br /> 39 at the corner of 33rd Avenue N.E. and Old Highway 8 , if the zoning <br /> 40 in changed to residential. The development company seems to feel <br /> 41 there would be a market for that type of unit because many <br /> 42 prospective buyers of townhomes have expressed a desire for units <br /> 43 with no stairs. <br /> 44 <br /> 45 NEW BUSINESS <br /> 46 <br /> 47 Proposed Ordinance Changes Discussed <br /> 48 <br /> 49 Commissioner Hansen took exception to the report in the February <br /> 50 ' .24th minutes that it had been the Planning Commission who -had <br /> 51 . changed the number of unrelated persons who could reside in -,--..a home <br /> 52 ' from 4 to 3 , saying the draft the Ordinance which the Attorney had <br /> • 53 marked up had specified 3 to start with.
