Sundland, <br /> Present: Sundland, Marks , Makowske, Enrooth. <br /> Absent: Ranallo. <br /> Also present: David Childs , City Manager. <br /> The Special Council meeting 'was held to consider the bids <br /> received for the bar fixtures and equipment for the- Stonehouse <br /> on-sale remodeling project. <br /> Due to an error on the specifications relating to a model number <br /> on a proposed bar stool for the project, there was confusion <br /> among the two bidders as to quality. Staff recommended that this <br /> portion of the bid be rejected. <br /> Motion by Marks, seconded by Makowske to reject furniture bids <br /> and direct staff to rebid. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The two bids received for bar fixtures and equipment were $57 ,686 <br /> from PYA Monarch, Inc. and $63 ,629 from St. Cloud Restaurant <br /> Supply. <br /> The low bid is $57 , 686 and meets specifications. The bid from <br /> St. Cloud Restaurant Supply was also submitted 13 minutes late, <br /> but this should not effect the outcome, since they were not low <br /> bidder. <br /> Motion by Enrooth, seconded by Marks to approve the low bid of <br /> $57 , 686 from PYA Monarch, Inc . <br /> Motion carried unanimously, <br /> The- City Manager reviewed the plans with the Council, refreshing <br /> them as to the location of the bars , dance floor and sound system <br /> as well as proposed -location for a kitchen and potential <br /> additional seating area. <br /> Costs for all of these items - will be ready for the April 14-, <br /> 1987 Council meeting, with bids on the off-sale to be opened on <br /> April 21st, allowing financing decisions to be made thereafter. <br /> The meeting adjourned at 7 : 35 P.M. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> David M.
