The <br /> number of additional wall signs will not exceed one half the total <br /> number of commercial establishments and will be allowed a surface <br /> sign area of one-half of that which it is allowed. <br /> (5) A commercial establishment located within a shopping center, having <br /> no outside frontage, will be allowed a surface sign area of one-half of <br /> that which it would be allowed if it had outside frontage. <br /> (6) Commercial establishment will be allowed, in addition to all other <br /> authorized signs, one historical identification symbol, not exceeding (5) <br /> five square feet in sign surface area. <br /> (7) Subject to approval of the Council, and as a conditional use, a movie <br /> theatre may have a marquee. LIGHT INDUSTRIAL: The following signs are permitted in a Light <br /> Industrial District and may be erected after obtaining a permit and paying required <br /> license fee. <br /> (1) One business or identification canopy or wall sign per right-of-way <br /> frontage pertinent as regulated in Subsection 1400.12, Subd. 2(l), or <br /> one freestanding sign as regulated and permitted in Subsection 1400.10. <br /> (2) In a district zoned for light industrial businesses, signs containing one <br /> square foot for every 100 square feet of ground floor space will be <br /> allowed up to a total sign surface area of 150.square feet. <br /> Subd. 4.
