• <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> DATE: August 8, 1994 <br /> TO: Planning Commissioners <br /> FROM: Michael Mornson, City Manager <br /> ITEM: CONDITIONAL USE FOR SCHOOL DISTRICT #282 <br /> The School District is requesting the placement of two classroom portable units <br /> on Wilshire Park Elementary School property for a period of 24 months. <br /> • In 1993, the Planning Commission approved the placement of one unit for a <br /> period of 24 months. The School District is proposing to remove the existing <br /> unit and replace it with a two classroom portable. <br /> The School District is located in the Recreational/Open Space District and <br /> because this is a temporary building it requires the approval of the Planning <br /> Commission and City Council. <br /> Some of the conditions that you will want to consider are as follows: <br /> 1. Twenty-four months from the time the unit is in place. <br /> 2. Removal of the existing-unit 60 days after the new unit is in place. <br /> 3. The heating and electrical systems are reviewed and approved by Public <br /> Works and Fire personnel. <br />
