CALL TO ORDER <br /> 5 The meeting was called to order by Chair Gondorchin at 6:00 P.M. <br /> 6 II. ROLL CALL. <br /> 7 Commissioners present: Bergstrom, Makowske, Gondorchin, Horst, Faust, Franzese, and <br /> 8 Thompson. <br /> 9 Commissioners absent: None. <br /> 10 Also present: Michael Morrison, City Manager, Mayor Ranallo, William Soth, <br /> 11 City Attorney, Councilmembers Fleming:and Wagner, Larry <br /> 12 Hamer, Public Works Director. <br /> 13 <br /> 14 III. APPROVAL OF OCTOBER 18, 1994 PLANNING COMMISSION MINUTES. <br /> 15 Motion by Thompson, second by Bergstrom,to approve the Planning Commission minutes of <br /> 16 October 18, 1994 with the following changes: <br /> Page 1, line 21: Remove "Mayor Ranallo was in attendance " and replace with "there were <br /> 18 no motions or ordinances passed". <br /> 19 Page 4, line 35: Add "Road" after "Silver Lake". <br /> 20 Page 9, line 31: Remove "Parks Committee",replace with "Hennepin County Public <br /> 21 Works Commission". <br /> 22 Page 10, line 3: After "Recycling", add "and garbage". <br /> 23 <br /> 24 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 25 IV. DESIGNATE PLANNING COMMISSION REPRESENTATIVE TO COUNCIL'S <br /> 26 NOVEMBER 22, 1994 REGULAR MEETING. <br /> 27 Commission Franzese will represent the Planning Commission at the November 22, 1994 <br /> 28 Council Meeting. <br /> 29 V. REQUEST FOR OUTSIDE STORAGE FROM HAPPY'S POTATO CHIPS,3900 <br /> 30 CHANDLER DRIVE. <br /> 31 City Manager Mornson reported that Happy's Potato Chip Company is requesting approval to <br /> 32 install six storage tanks. Five of the tanks will be 24 feet high and one tank will be 30 feet high. <br /> 33 The tanks will be used for storage of bulk popcorn, located in the existing receiving area, and <br /> 34 will not have an impact on the existing parking. There is no public hearing required for the <br /> request. These tanks are considered storage sheds and according to the light industrial ordinance <br /> where Happy's is located, storage sheds that do not exceed one story in height,have to be <br /> 37 approved by the Council andi also have to be recommended by the Planning Commission.
