March 11, 1998 <br /> INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS <br /> Proposal Opening: <br /> Tuesday, April 15, 1998 <br /> 11:30 a.m. <br /> St. Anthony City Hall <br /> 3301 Silver Lake Road <br /> St. Anthony, MN 55418 <br /> The City of St. Anthony is in the process of trying to determine the best use for several areas <br /> in the community. These are mostly commercially zoned areas that include the Apache Plaza <br /> and St. Anthony Shopping Center, both of which were constructed in the 1950's; a City <br /> owned building that houses a municipal bar and liquor store, fire station, and hair salon; and <br /> blighted residential properties that the City has purchased for redevelopment. The City invites <br /> you to submit a proposal to assist in preparing a redevelopment plan for these areas: <br /> a. Apache Plaza, 3800 Silver Lake Road; and <br /> b. St. Anthony Shopping Center, 2700 Hwy. 8, and surrounding area <br /> including the Northgate.Business Office, Town/Country grocery store <br /> (vacant), Custom.Liquidators, Phillips 66 Station, City of St. Anthony <br /> properties: Stonehouse Bar & Grill, Fire Station, 2900 Kenzie Terrace, <br /> and City owned R-1 properties on Kenzie Terrace. See attached. <br /> 1. GENERAL. <br /> Proposals will be received by the City of St. Anthony on or before Tuesday, April 15, <br /> 1998, at 11:30 a.m., Attention Kim Moore-Sykes, Management Assistant, City Hall, <br /> 3301 Silver Lake Road, St. Anthony, MN 55418, 789-8881. <br /> Those submitting proposals should be cautious when sending proposals by the U.S. <br /> Mail system. Mailed submittals should be posted in sufficient time for them to <br /> arrive at City Hall prior to the time and date specified. The City reserves the right <br /> to reject any or all proposals for any reason whatsoever. <br /> A representative from the-selected firm will be expected to be prepared to present the <br /> proposal before the City Council at a Council meeting. <br /> i <br />
