The Manager may also require periodic or random inspections of service vehicles after a <br /> license has been granted. Any defect found in a service vehicle which may cause a <br /> safety or fire hazard must be corrected prior to its further use. <br /> 530.07 Display of License. When the requirements of this Section are complied with, a <br /> suitable license certificate or sticker for each licensed service vehicle issued will be to <br /> the licensee. The license,certificate or sticker must be permanently and prominently <br /> affixed and displayed at all times on the upper one-half of the driver's door or the <br /> service vehicle. <br /> 530.08 Posting Fee Schedule. The schedule of minimum fees must be posted at the <br /> business location and on or in the service vehicle. Upon request, a copy of the schedule <br /> must be presented to each prospective customer. If a service vehicle is called by an <br /> individual seeking assistance and assistance cannot be given or is no longer needed,the <br /> maximum charge which may be assessed must be the minimum service charge stated in <br /> the license application and on the posted schedule of fees. <br /> 530.09 Recent for Services. The licensee must give to the person to whom services are <br /> rendered a printed form receipt stating the name of the business supplying the services, <br /> the license number under which the licensee is doing business,the fee charged for the <br /> services,and the name:of the operator of the service vehicle rendering the services. <br /> 530.10 Possessory Lien. No possessory lien will attach for motor vehicle services <br /> performed on any vehicle where such services are limited to starting or attempting to <br /> start the vehicle. It is unlawful for any person to seize or take into custody any vehicle <br /> in order to collect fees or charges for such services,except with the express consent of <br /> the driver or owner or agent of the owner of the vehicle. <br /> 530.11 Denial, Suspension and Revocation. Any license under this Section may be <br /> denied,suspended,revoked or refused renewal for any one or more of the following <br /> causes: <br /> (a) No licensee may provide any motor vehicle service to any motor vehicle <br /> involved in an accident when a police officer or other peace officer is <br /> investigating that accident,without permission of that officer. <br /> (b) No licensee may solicit or contract for the providing of motor vehicle <br /> services to any vehicle involved in an accident at the scene of that <br /> accident,until a police officer has arrived and-given permission to do so. <br /> 5-17 <br />
