CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> • February 9 , 1982 <br /> The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance by Mayor Sundland <br /> at 7 : 30 P.M. <br /> Present for roll call : Marks , Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau, and <br /> Enrooth. <br /> Also present : Dave Childs , City Manager; Carol Johnson, Finance <br /> Director; and Don Hickerson , Chief of Police. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes of the Council work session held <br /> January 19 , 1982 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes for the regular Council meeting held <br /> January 26 , 1982 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The minutes for the Housing and Redevelopment Authority held January <br /> • 26 , 1982 will be considered at the next HRA meeting . <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> grant all licenses listed in the February 9 , 1982 Council agenda . <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> approve payment of all verified claims listed in the February 9 , <br /> 1982 Council agenda as well as $1 , 782 . 90 to the Dorsey Firm for legal <br /> services during November, 1981 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> The Council concurred with Councilman Ranallo' s recommendation that <br /> a letter be sent to the Fire Chief requesting he let his men know how <br /> much the Council appreciates the hours they . spent shoveling out the <br /> fire hydrants after the recent snow storms . <br /> The January Fire Department report and Larry Hamer ' s report on the <br /> City water supply were accepted as informational . <br /> Before accepting the notes on the staff meeting held February 3rd, <br /> several matters which were discussed were commented on by Council <br /> members . Chief Hickerson reported the three property owners whose <br /> responsibility it is to keep the private alley off Old Highway 8 plowed <br /> • out have been informed that, if the City has to open the alley , which <br /> is a fire lane , the property owners will be charged for the plowing <br /> costs . He added that the residents of the apartment buildings on that <br />
