CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> June 8 , 1982 <br /> Mayor Sundland opened the meeting with the Pledge of Allegiance at <br /> 7 : 45 P .M. <br /> Present for roll call : Marks , Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau, and <br /> Enrooth . <br /> Also present: David Childs , City Manager, and Ron Berg , Administrative <br /> Assistant. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes of the Council meeting held May <br /> 25 , 1982 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Marks to <br /> grant all heating and air conditioning licenses listed in the June 8 , <br /> 1982 Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Marks to <br /> • approve payment of all the May 31st and June 8th verified claims <br /> listed in the June 8, 1982 Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> approve payment of $2 , 571 . 20 to the Dorsey firm for legal services <br /> during April , 1982 . <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> In the statement of annual membership fees which are now due , the <br /> Association of Metropolitan Municipalities had indicated Councilman <br /> Ranallo has been designated the City ' s voting delegate with Councilman <br /> Marks serving as alternate and the Mayor wondered whether his <br /> election to the Board of Directors of the Association might pose a <br /> problem. It was agreed there should be no conflict with the City ' s <br /> interests . <br /> Motion by Councilman P4arks and seconded by Councilman Letourneau to <br /> approve payment of $1 , 213 for annual membership dues to the Association <br /> of Metropolitan Municipalities . <br /> Motion carried unanimously . <br /> Councilman Ranallo reported he and Mr. Childs will be on the program <br /> for the labor relations workshop at the League of Minnesota Cities <br /> •_ convention in Rochester next week and, therefore , their expenses will <br /> be paid. <br />
