r ` <br /> RESOLUTION 87-011 <br /> A RESOLUTION REQUESTING A VARIANCE TO ALLOW A <br /> �i <br /> 32 FOOT ROADWAY FOR THE ST. ANTHONY PARKWAY PROJECT <br /> WHEREAS, the City of St. Anthony, Hennepin County, Minnesota, <br /> desires to improve St. Anthony Parkway from a point 560± north of <br /> Ridgeway Drive to a point 5601 south of the Burlington Northern <br /> Railraod Tracks, and <br /> WHEREAS, State Aid Operations Minnesota Rules Section 8820 . 9912 <br /> states that the minimum width of a two-lane, arterial, low <br /> density, undivided MSA street with no. parking lanes is 36 feet, <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, the above described section of St. Anthony Parkway has <br /> 27 trees from 24 to 36 inch diameter that could be killed by <br /> widening of the street. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: that the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby requests the Minnesota Commissioner of Transportation that <br /> a variance be granted to allow a 32 foot roadway, with no parking <br /> for the St. Anthony Parkway project described above. <br /> iAdopted this day, of 1987 . <br /> i Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City Manager <br /> CERTIFICATION <br /> State of Minnesota <br /> j County of Hennepin <br /> City of St. .Anthony <br /> I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution is a true and <br /> correct copy of a resolution presented to and adopted- by the City <br /> Council of St. Anthony at a meeting thereof held in the City of <br /> St. Anthony, Minnesota, on the day of <br /> 1987 as disclosed by the records of said City in my possession. <br /> City Clerk <br />
