She said the flyer from <br /> 20 a local water softening company hung on her doorknob and a telephone <br /> 21 call from a salesman working for a water filter company had both given <br /> 22 the false impression that there were harmful elements in St. Anthony <br /> 23 water and she was afraid that, in spite of all the articles in the <br /> �4 newspapers and the Newsletter about the City's new carbon filter system, <br /> �- some residents might still be led to believe they needed to filter their <br /> 26 drinking water. <br /> 27 Councilmember Ranallo cautioned against saying all the claims were <br /> 28 "false advertising" , perceiving there might still be elements like lead <br /> 29 which comes from the pipes which the carbon system never reaches. <br /> 30 Councilmember Marks agreed that might be true, but said it was <br /> 31 certainly not accurate for any company to tell the residents there were <br /> 32 still TCE's in the water because those impurities had been removed from <br /> 33 the City's water.
