STME MEETING NOTES <br /> May 2, 1989 <br /> The meeting began at 10:15 A.M. Present were Sue VanderHeyden, <br /> Larry Hamer, Lee Entner, Connie Kroeplin, and Don Hickerson. Ray <br /> Nelson was absent. <br /> There are a few St. Anthony residences and businesses which will <br /> receive spring clean up notifications. Ms. VanderHeyden and Mr. <br /> Hamer discussed several of these violations. <br /> Larry Hamer <br /> 1. Last week's rain slowed construction on the LaNel project. <br /> 2. Clayton Olson and Steve Koes were recipients of the "I Made <br /> a Difference" award cup last week. <br /> 3. Street sweeping is almost complete. The branch chipping <br /> program was completed today (May 2nd) . <br /> 4. The Gardeners Club will plant flowers in the center medians <br /> about May 16th. They have asked Pine Cone Nursery to suggest <br /> a plan for plantings in front of the City sign. <br /> • 5. The VillageFest street dance and booths, etc. will be behind <br /> Christen's home (the lower parking lot at Central Park) during <br /> the summer celebration. <br /> 6. One of the pieces of play equipment has been put up in <br /> Central Park. The other piece will go in Silver Point Park <br /> next week. <br /> 7. Public Works is readying the restrooms for public use at all <br /> times at Silver Point Park. <br /> 8. The feasibility study for the intersection at 39th and Stinson <br /> is being done by Columbia Heights. <br /> 9. The bid advertisement to insulate and stucco the fire station <br /> and SAV I will- be in next week's Bulletin. <br /> 10. In spite of bad weather, Mr. Hamer deemed clean up day a <br /> success last Saturday. <br /> Lee Entner <br /> 1. Chief Entner has been working on the 1990 budget and is almost <br /> finished with the draft. <br /> 2. A "I Made a Difference" cup was presented to Tim Mezzenga, a <br /> volunteer firefighter. <br />
