Council Meeting <br /> January 23, 1990 <br /> page 8 <br /> • <br /> 1 Mayor Pro-tem Ranallo requested that the meeting schedule of the Task <br /> 2 Force appear in the Bulletin. <br /> 4 Motion by Marks, second by. Ranallo to approve appointment of the eleven <br /> 5 residents who have indicated their interest in serving to the City Manager, <br /> 6 to a Roads Task Force. <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 9 <br /> .10 E. Needs Analysis for City Hall Building <br /> 11 <br /> 12 The City Manager reported a Needs Analysis of the City Hall Building would <br /> 13 cost approximately $14,000.00 according to the architect contacted.. He advised <br /> t4 remodeling costs would cover major structural work, bringing the electrical and <br /> 15 mechanical aspects of the building up to code and updating of the heating <br /> 16 and ventilation systems. Performance of an energy audit was also suggested <br /> 17 as was an asbestos analysis. Mayor Pro-tem Ranallo advised that an asbestos <br /> 18 analysis had already been performed. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 F. Staff Resignation <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Lois Davis, the City Accountant, has resigned. Mayor Pro tem Ranallo <br /> 23 requested the position of a Finance Director be put on the February 5th <br /> 24 Council work session agenda for discussion. He also, requested the Council <br /> 25 appointment to the Planning Commission be an agenda item for the February <br /> 26 13th Council meeting. <br /> 27 <br /> 28 G. Renewal of Insurance Policy <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The Assistant to the City Manager inquired if the Council wanted the <br /> 31 personal accident policy with the League of Minnesota Insurance Trust <br /> 32 renewed. The annual premium is $63.75.
