CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL WORK SESSION MINUTES <br /> FEBRUARY 5, 1991 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7:00 P.M.. <br /> Present: Mayor Ranallo, Councilmembers Enrooth, Marks, Fleming <br /> Absent: Councilmember Wagner <br /> Also present: City Manager Tom Burt; Assistant to the City Manager Sue <br /> VanderHeyden <br /> I. Proposed Travel Reimbursement Policy. <br /> The policy statement was created to formalize the process for reimbursement of <br /> travel expenses. Council directed staff to revise Section 10 of the policy. <br /> II. Sala1y Increase for Mayor and Council. <br /> This item will be placed on the February 26th agenda with a $10/month increase for <br /> Councilmembers and a $15/month increase for the Mayor. The increase will be <br /> effective January 1, 1992. <br /> III. Bud.Qet Reduction Plan. <br /> City Manager Burt presented the plan to the Council with a reminder that it is a <br /> flexible guide to reductions and may be adjusted at a point when the City is more <br /> aware of what the State's plans for reductions will be. <br /> IV. Proposed Resolution Opposing Cuts in LGA and HACA Monies. <br /> Proposed resolution was reviewed and will be placed on the next City Council <br /> agenda. <br /> V. Proposed Policy for Unpaid Water Meter Deposits. <br /> Burt requested that the Council consider a policy to put unpaid water meter deposits <br /> on quarterly water bills. Council recommended staff send a letter to residents on the <br /> list to notify them and if the residents fail to pay for their deposit, the cost should be <br /> included on the residents' water billing. <br />
