• <br /> COMPREHENSIVE PLAN REVISIONS & CORRIDOR STUDY <br /> I. REVIEW LAND USE PLAN <br /> A. Staff will review land use plan with existing zoning classifications and existing <br /> use to determine the appropriate land use. This will include the land uses in <br /> the moratorium area. <br /> B. Review proposed changes with residents committee and solicit feedback and <br /> recommendations. <br /> C. Incorporate comments from the residents committee. <br /> D. Present Comprehensive Plan revisions to Planning Commission at public <br /> hearing. <br /> E. Initiate rezoning of certain properties as appropriate per the revised <br /> comprehensive plan. <br /> • II. KENZIE TERRACE CORRIDOR (MORATORIUM) <br /> A. Staff will interview planners and make recommendation to hire to the City <br /> Council. <br /> B. Staff will meet with planner and review area and provide needed support. <br /> C. Meet with residents committee to gather ideas. <br /> D. Planner will prepare different options for the corridor and get input from <br /> residents committee. <br /> 1. The plan will identify possible funding sources, timing of the proposed <br /> improvements and recommendations for possible changes to the Land <br /> Use Plan. <br /> E. Planning Commission will review and make recommendation to the City <br /> Council. <br /> The study of the Kenzie Terrace corridor and changes to the comprehensive plan will take <br /> place simultaneously and have input from the residents committee and recommendations by <br /> the planning commission. The entire process is estimated to take up to one year. <br /> • <br />
