1 Council Meeting <br /> 2 May 26, 1992 • <br /> 3 Page 2 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Temporary 3 .2 Beer Permits for City-Parks <br /> 7 <br /> 8 Motion by Wagner, seconded by Fleming to approve the temporary <br /> 9 beer and wine permit applications submitted by the following: <br /> 10 <br /> 11 Randy Hodson for the Day family going-away-party to be <br /> 12 held in the Central Park pavilion May 29 from 6:00 p. m. <br /> 13 to midnight; <br /> 14 <br /> 15 Patricia Fagerlee for the use of the Central Park <br /> 16 pavilion and baseball diamond for the Robertson family <br /> 17 picnic to be held from noon to dark on June 6; <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Patricia Fagerlee for the use of the Central Park and <br /> 20 baseball diamond for the Kravetz family picnic to be <br /> 21 held from noon to dark on July 11. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 Roll call : Wagner, Fleming, Ranallo, Enrooth - Aye <br /> 24 Marks - Nay <br /> 25 <br /> 26 Motion carried. <br /> 27 •28 VI PRESENTATION OF CLAIMS <br /> 29 <br /> 30 Verified Claims <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Motion by Marks, seconded by Enrooth to approve payment of all <br /> 33 verified claims as listed in the May 26, 1992 Council agenda <br /> 34 packet and as presented for approval prior to that Council <br /> 35 meeting. <br /> 36 <br /> 37 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 38 <br /> 39 VII REPORTS <br /> 40 <br /> 41 A. Council Reports <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Councilmember Wagner <br /> 44 <br /> 45 The Councilmember reported attendance at the May 21 Community <br /> 46 Services Advisory Committee meeting where 'it was determined• that it <br /> 47 would be very difficult to balance the budget without dropping <br /> 48 some of the activities whose fees don' t cover the cost of the <br /> 49 activity. Mayor Ranallo reported receiving several complaints <br /> 50 from parents from outside St. Anthony about proposed <br /> 51 elimination of the toddler portion of the daycare services. <br /> 52 Councilmember Wagner indicated those users of the toddler <br /> 53 services were going to try to market the- program to generate • <br /> 54 enough participants to justify its retention without a drain <br /> 55 on the budget. Alternatives to discontinued programs will be <br /> 56 sought, he said. <br />
