Mayor Ranallo and Councilmembers <br /> 10 Marks and Wagner felt this was adequate time. Councilmember <br /> 11 Fleming opposed the time being limited to three weeks noting <br /> 12 that this procedure takes such effort . <br /> 13 <br /> 14 The Mayor suggested that the time could be placed at four <br /> 15 weeks . <br /> 16 <br /> 17 The City Manager advised that the street right-of way issue <br /> 18 will be on a Council work session agenda. This is in reference <br /> 19 to the placement of political signs and has proven quite <br /> 20 difficult to enforce . <br /> 21 <br /> 22 Councilmember Fleming stated she had raised the issue of <br /> 23 right-of-way because it should be self-contained. The sign <br /> 24 installers have to be given correct information . <br /> 25 <br /> 26 The City Manager noted that this year all candidates but one <br /> 27 have contacted City Hall regarding this issue. <br /> 28 <br /> 29 The Mayor felt this should be fifteen feet from the curb and <br /> 30 . should be added to the ordinance . He also noted that the time <br /> 31 restrictions for political yard signs of four weeks before the <br /> 32 election and five days after the election should apply to the <br /> 33 School Board as well . <br /> 34 <br /> 35 The City Manager stated that the date of amortization will be <br /> 36 left in the ordinance and the industrial zoning was <br /> 37 inadvertantly omitted from the draft . <br /> 38 <br /> 39 Motion by Enrooth, second by Fleming to approve the third <br /> 40 reading and adoption of corrected Ordinance No. 1992-008 being <br /> 41 an ordinance relat-ing to signs ; amending the St . Anthony 1973 <br /> 42 Code of Ordinances by amending Chapter 14 . <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 45 <br /> 46 11 .
