1 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING <br /> 2 APRIL 13 , 1993 <br /> 3 PAGE 8 <br /> 4 <br /> 5 <br /> 6 Mr. Bona and' his legal counsel stated their biggest concern is <br /> 7 that a final plan for this area has already been approved and <br /> 8 they had no input . <br /> 9 <br /> 10 The City Manager assured Mr. Bona that there have been no <br /> 11 <br /> final decisions made regarding his property and he is waiting <br /> 12 <br /> to see the plans which Mr. Bona ha's for his parcels . <br /> 13 <br /> 14 Presently, staff is in the process of finalizing the road plan <br /> 15 and going out for bids . This information will be back to the <br /> 16 Council in May. At the April <br /> Planning Commission meeting, <br /> 17 information regarding subdivision of the two residential lots <br /> 18 and the outlots will be considered. <br /> 19 <br /> 20 The City Manager recommended that Mr. Bona present his plans <br /> 21 to the Planning Commission . He also advised that any changes <br /> 22 to the site plan would require a conditional use permit . Mr. <br /> 23 Bona again stated his primary issue at this time is access to <br /> 24 27th Avenue. <br /> 25 <br /> 26 The City Manager reviewed the process and anticipated time <br /> 27 table for the southend development project . It will be <br /> 28 included on the agenda of the Planning Commission at its May <br /> 29 meeting. This will accommodate the legal notice requirements . <br /> 30 A development agreement will be drafted to give land to Mr. <br /> 31 Bona in exchange for an agreed upon item. The project ' s <br /> 32 concept review can be added to the agenda for the Planning <br /> 33 Commission April meeting so it can be informally considered. <br /> 34 <br /> 35 The Mayor suggested that members of the South End Task Force <br /> 36 should also be advised of this informal discussion. <br /> 37 <br /> 38 The City Manager advised the Council that he and the City <br /> 39 Attorney had met with Mr. Bona and his legal counsel to <br /> 40 discuss how he could gain an additional *6, 000 square feet but <br /> 41 would be expected to eliminate any access from his property to <br /> 42 27th Avenue. <br /> 43 <br /> 44 Mr. Bona stated he feels additional dialogue should be had <br /> 45 regarding this matter. While it is being identified as a <br /> 46 neighborhood" project , Mr. Bona noted the area does include <br /> 47 businesses and these have to be considered in the whole scheme <br /> 48 of things . <br /> 49 <br /> 50 <br />
