Report of Councilmember Marks <br /> 14 <br /> 15 The Sister City Committee held a meeting recently which <br /> 16 started at 6: 00 a.m. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 David Braslow, a St . Anthony resident , had visited Salo, <br /> 19 Finland, St . Anthony' s Sister City. He gave a report on his <br /> 20 visit . Members of the Committee would like him to report at a <br /> 21 future Council Meeting. <br /> 22 <br /> 23 While Mr . Braslow was visiting Salo, discussion was had <br /> 24 regarding an exchange program between school students of the <br /> 25 two cities . A pen-pal club has been suggested to Dave <br /> 26 Abrahamson, principal of Wilshire Park Elementary School . Mr. <br /> 27 Abrahamson will see if there is any interest in the school , <br /> 28 population. <br /> 29 <br /> 30 4 . Report of Councilmember Enrooth <br /> 31 <br /> 32 Councilmember Enrooth thanked Dave Urbia, the City ' s <br /> 33 Management Assistant , for his services . He felt Dave ' s <br /> 34 interest and expertise in environmental issues was <br /> 35 particularly beneficial to the City and the Council . <br /> 36 <br /> . 37 Dave Urbia has resigned his position and accepted a position <br /> 38 as City Administrator in Blue Earth. <br /> 39 <br /> 40 5 . Report of Mayor Ranallo <br /> 41 <br /> 42 Mayor Ranallo visited the first grade class at Wilshire Park <br /> 43 Elementary School . He found the children very well informed <br /> 44 and knowledgeable. <br /> 45 <br /> 46 The Mayor has received resident calls regarding signs at <br /> 47 various gas stations in the City. One specific station has <br /> 48 drawn resident attention in that it has been changing signs on <br /> 49 a weekly basis . These are very large temporary signs . <br /> 50 <br />
