• <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> DATE: May 20, 1997 = <br /> TO: Mayor and Councilmembers <br /> FROM; Michael T Mornson, City Manager <br /> ITEM: TRAFFIC SIGNAL PROJECT ON 39TH AVENUE NE <br /> AND STINSON BOULEVARD WITH COLUMBIA <br /> HEIGHTS <br /> The City of Columbia'Heights received bids for the traffic control signals at <br /> 39th Avenue NE and Stinson Boulevard. The lowest bid was from Ridgedale <br /> Electric in the amount of $154,700. The City of St. Anthony is responsible <br /> for half of the signal work, which amounts to $116,000. St. Anthony's share <br /> is $58,000, which will come out of the City's Minnesota State Aid account. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Recommend Council approve the lowest bid of $154,700 received from <br /> Ridgedale Electric for the traffic control signal systems on 39th Avenue NE <br /> and Stinson Boulevard (a municipal project shared with the City of Columbia <br /> Heights). <br /> • <br />
