Hennep in County
An Equal Opportunity Employer •
October 21, 1999
Michael Mornson
Manager
City of St. Anthony
St. Anthony, MN 55418
Dear Mr. Mornson:
Enclosed is the billing for Hennepin County TIF administrative costs incurred in 1998 for the City of St.
Anthony, as authorized by Minnesota Statutes, Section 469.176, Subd. 4h. We have revised our cost
structure to 1) decrease the percentage of Hennepin County cost allocated to projected TIF revenue;
2) increase the percentage of cost allocated per TIF district; and 3) include a per-parcel allocation of cost.
We believe the revised cost structure more accurately reflects the services provided by Hennepin County
and we will use this method to determine the distribution of our 1999 TIF administrative costs.
Fifty percent of the county TIF administrative costs are allocated on the basis of TIF revenue, as shown at
the beginning year-for taxes payable in 1998. Thirty-five percent of the costs are allocated equally to each
TIF district or district enlargement($331.97 per district). The remaining 15% is allocated equally to each '
TIF parcel ($2.47 per parcel).
Please remit payment of$1,888.83 by November 26, 1999. The check should be made payable to the
Hennepin County Treasurer and mailed to:
Jean M.
