Our congregation has grown considerably these past <br /> three years and we are now faced with insufficient room. We desperately <br /> need more Sunday School classrooms, a larger sanctuary and more parking <br /> spaces. • <br /> Attached to this letter is .a plot plan showing our property and the. <br /> proposed addition. An enlarged parking lot is also shown that would <br /> accomodate -148 cars. The church owns two parcels of land, identified <br /> as #402592 and #324778, which provides adequate room for this expansion. <br /> We have an architect working on the detailed plan drawings and hope <br /> to have a more complete package during July. I trust that this plot <br /> plan will be sufficient for reviewal by the planning/zoning commission <br /> and the city council. <br /> Our basic plan calls for the sanctuary to- be extended to the east <br /> about 15 feet to increase the seating area to about 300 people. We <br /> plan to also build a split level building directly behind the sanctuary. <br /> This addition would add about 10 new classrooms, a new kitchen and an <br /> assembly room. The roofline would be an extension of the present build- <br /> ing and would match the design as close as .practical.. <br /> I hope that this proposal will find approval with the city so that <br /> we can make progress toward a completion date in October.
