Childs, City Manager <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> SUMMARY DISCUSSION OF SUBJECT: Attached is a request from Robert Slick, 3400 <br /> Buchanan Street N.E. for approval of a conditional use permit to allow the operation <br /> of a non-alcoholic bar at 2533 Harding (formerly occupied by Chick's Billiards) . <br /> Conditional use approval is required by Sec tion 9, Subd. 3.8 of ' the Zoning Ordinance. <br /> As of this date, no objections have been received from any neighboring residents . <br /> Mr. Slick' s letter describes his proposal and rules in detail .- <br /> ALTERNATIVES : <br /> etail .ALTERNATIVES : The Planning Commission may. or may not wish to recommend special <br /> conditions with regard- to this operation, although with an hours ordinance in effect, <br /> and no alcohol to be served, special conditions may not- be necessary. <br /> RECOWENDATION: Staff recommends that the Planning Commission recommend favorable <br /> consideration of the application to the City Council with any conditions as deemed <br /> necessary' by the Commission. <br /> ATTACHMENTS : <br /> No Plan X Application Form and Letter <br /> X Mailing List No Letters of Support/Objection <br /> X Notice of Hearing <br /> C TY MANAGER'S REVIEW: COMMENTS : <br />
