Childs, City Manager <br /> SUMPZARY DISCUSSION OF SUBJECT: This is a request from Howard Krueger for re- <br /> zoning from R-1 to R-2 duplex. at 3631 Harding Street. A variance is also required <br /> since the lot is 5 feet narrower than the required 85 feet and 1 ,600 square feet <br /> smaller than the required 12,000 square feet. The lot is adjacent to singlefamily <br /> zoning on the south and duplex on the north and the City's comprehensive plan shows <br /> the parcel planned as single family. Mr. Krueger proposes a house as .shown by the <br /> attached plans. 1 received a call from the neighbor immediately south of the proposed <br /> rezoning (Harvey Herzog, 3627 Harding) . He indicated he had originally told Mr. <br /> Krueger that he did not object, but had reconsidered and is now against the rezoning. <br /> • <br /> ALTERNATIVES : <br /> RECOWIENDATION: As previous 1 y discussed by the Commission, this request seems <br /> acceptable unless the neighbors object.
