Childs , City Manager <br /> ------------------------------------------------------------------------ <br /> SUMMARY DISCUSSION OF SUBJECT: This is a request for a variance and lot split <br /> concept review for Lot 9, Block 4 Moundsview Acres (4017, Fordham Drive) . The appli- <br /> cant, Mike McGinn, 4021 Fordham, proposes to split the 124.5 X 295.9 foot property <br /> into two 62.25' X 295.9' lots. The resultant lots would have adequate square foot- <br /> age but would be narrower than the required 75' width. It is apparent that precedent <br /> exists for such a split since lots -5, 6 and 10 in Block 4 have previously been <br /> similarly split. Four lots on the south end of Fordham between Fordham and Shamrock <br /> were also created with 62 foot widths (.see circle on map around area) . An <br /> additional bonus is that the existing, substandard home on the property will be <br /> removed and two new single family homes would be constructed without a subsidy such <br /> as tax increment, etc. <br /> ALTERNATIVES : <br /> RECOM!TENDATION: Per Commission. <br /> ATTACHIIENTS: <br /> _ X Map of SNJ !ct Area.
