The drive-through was approved. <br /> 2. A free-standing sign was denied. <br /> 3. Plaisted was told he could retain the roof sign (even if he took it <br /> down and put it back up) . <br /> 4. It appears that Plaisted was told that he would have to have variances <br /> for the wall signs. <br /> This was one of the very few Planning Commission meetings that I have ever missed <br /> - and therefore I cannot be very helpful about what was said that night. <br /> Current Issue <br /> Mr. Plaisted was told in July of 1987 to apply for the variance and was told by <br /> the Commission at that time that they would look favorably at the variances - <br /> even though they were very disappointed with how the process had actually worked. <br /> Thus, this is a relatively simple matter - even though it took a lot of time and <br /> energy to get here. <br /> :cjk2.16.88 <br />
