He said that if residents feel it is not <br /> 6 proper for META to be spending Association money on its own property, <br /> 7 the issue must be taken up with META. <br /> 8 <br /> 9 Tyson stated that the Kenzington Board of Directors approved $6,000 to be <br /> 10 used to develop a parking lot. It was decided that no rent would be charged <br /> 11 for using this lot and it would be available for use for one year. Tyson <br /> 12 prefers not to withdraw the. request for an extension of the variance. <br /> 13 He advised that META has a meeting scheduled in December where this issue <br /> 14 will be addressed. <br /> 15 <br /> 16 Motion by Enrooth, second by Marks to table this matter. <br /> 17 <br /> 18 Motion carried unanimously <br /> 19 <br /> 20 John Zahhos, 2808 Silver Lake Road , addressed the .action taken earlier in <br /> 21 the meeting by the Council regarding the alley between Coolidge Street and <br /> 22 Silver- Lake Road. He was supportive of closing the alley. He felt there was <br /> 23 no clear mandate for action from the survey circulated to affected property • <br /> 24 owners. He expressed his gratitude to the Public Works Director for prompt <br /> 25 attention to this matter and to the Council for the action taken. <br /> 26 <br /> 27 The Acting City Manager advised the Council that presently there are no <br /> 28 containers available for recycling in apartment buildings. She will pursue <br /> 29 this matter with Gallagher Haulers.
