(2) A gasoline station will be allowed, in addition to all other <br /> authorized signs, one pylon sign to identify the gasoline brand. <br /> This sign may not exceed 30 feet in height, and must have a <br /> minimum clearance of 12 feet from the basic grade level to the <br /> lowest element of the sign surface and may not exceed 50 square <br /> feet in sign surface area. Such an establishment will also be <br /> allowed one price sign, not to exceed 8 square feet in sign surface <br /> area, for each frontage having a curb cut. Such freestanding sign <br /> and price signs will be in addition to those signs allowed in Part <br /> A of this Subdivision. <br /> (3) - Subject to approval of the Council, a shopping center may be <br /> allowed a pylon sign not exceeding 300 square feet in sign surface <br /> area. <br /> (4) A commercial establishment located within a shopping center, <br /> having no outside frontage, will be allowed a surface sign area of <br /> one-half of that which it would be allowed if it had outside <br /> frontage. <br /> (5) Commercial establishments will be allowed, in addition to all <br /> other authorized signs, one historical identification symbol, not <br /> exceeding (5) five square feet in sign surface area. <br /> Subd. 3. Light Industrial. The following signs are permitted in a Light <br /> Industrial District and maybe erected after obtaining a permit and paying <br /> required license fee. <br /> (1) One business or identification canopy or wall sign pertinent as <br /> regulated-in Subsection 1400.11, Subd. 213, or one freestanding <br /> sign as regulated and permitted in Subsection 1400.09. <br /> (2) In a district zoned for light industrial businesses, signs <br /> containing one square foot for every 100 square feet of ground <br /> floor space will be allowed up to a total sign surface area of 150 <br /> square feet. <br /> 1400.12 Adjustments and Appeals. <br /> Subd. 1. Composition. The commission of adjustments and appeals will be <br /> comprised of all of the members of the planning commission. <br /> 14-13 <br />
