This was an application for a garage setback <br /> 8 permit from Scott Barton, 3515 Harding Street Northeast . <br /> 9 <br /> 10 It had been referred back to the Planning Commission by the <br /> 11 City Council as Mr . Barton had changed his plans since they <br /> 12 were first viewed by the Planning Commission . <br /> 13 <br /> 14 The City Manager advised that Mr. Barton now intends to keep <br /> 15 his, garage detached and move it to another location on his <br /> 16 property. A public hearing will be required for the relocating <br /> 17 of an accessory building. <br /> 18 <br /> 19 Newly Hired Management Assistant <br /> 20 <br /> 21 The City Manager introduced Sarah Bellefuelle, the newly hired <br /> 22 Management Assistant . She will commence her duties on November <br /> - .23 lst . Sarah is presently employed by the City of Roseville. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 Public Hearings <br /> 26 <br /> 27 A. Application for Conditional Use Permit - Jane Olin, owner • <br /> 28 "The Hair Solution" , 2906 Pentagon Drive <br /> 29 <br /> 30 The hearing was opened by Chair Faust at 7 : 05 p.m. who read <br /> 31 the notice of public hearing which was published in the <br /> 32 October 6 , 1993 edition of the Bulletin . <br /> 33 <br /> 34 The City Manager explained the request of Ms . Olin. She also <br /> 35 stated that she feels massage would be beneficial for clients <br /> 36 and that her present business reflects a reputable setting <br /> 37 which would be acceptable to families . <br /> 38 <br /> 39 The City Manager noted_ this request and the recommendations of <br /> 40 staff are similar to those involving a previous request from <br /> 41 the TAN ME salon in Apache Plaza Shopping Center. <br /> 42 <br /> 43 Noting this business is located in the St . Anthony Shopping <br /> 44 Center, Commissioner Madden inquired what the hours of <br /> 45 operation would be. <br /> 46 <br /> 47 The City Manager responded that staff has recommended the same <br /> 48 hours as the TAN ME salon which are different than those of <br /> 49 the St .
