Included are the curved council table constructed of burnished concrete masonry with a plastic laminate tabletop,and the speakers podium which Is designed In wood with a plastic laminate top.The podium Is designed for someone to sit rather than stand. We would also like to eliminate the base In the Council Chamber and Conference Room base which could save a few hundred more If that happens. It will depend on the condition of the wall at the Intersection of the floor and it may not be possible If they didn't clean the masonry all the way to the floor,which they may not have done because they expected to apply a base. There Is too much stored In the room at present, and not enough light,to be able to make that decision. The accommodation for the TV screens In the council table Is not a significant amount and we estimate that It should be approximately two.lo three hundred dollars of the total cost. The company providing the TV equipment will be responsible for cutting the tabletop and Installing their equipment therefor that Isn't pan of the work that Gra'us will do. Kim and I are meeting with them on Monday afternoon.to discuss their typical support and connection methods.We have some thoughts that may make it easier for them.
