City Council Regular Meeting Minutes <br /> December 3, 1997 <br /> Page 5 <br /> 1 Motion by Marks, second by Wagner to accept the report of the Water Management Task <br /> 2 Force as presented this evening by Susan Kozarek. <br /> 3 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 4 Wagner excused himself from the meeting at 8:05 P.M. <br /> 5 Mr. Willenbring stated he believed a good next step would be to develop an implementation <br /> 6 plan. He asked if the City would base their design on the TP40 standard. <br /> 7 There was Council consensus to base the design on the TP40 standard. <br /> 8 Mayor Ranallo asked Ms. Kozarek if she would like to accompany City Staff to meet with <br /> 9 Senator Marty or Representative McGuire. <br /> 10 Ms. Kozarek stated she would be willing to do so. <br /> 11 Motion by Marks, second by Enrooth to authorize WSB to continue to work with the Water- <br /> 12 Management Task Force and to provide an implementation plan utilizing the design standards <br /> 13 of the TP40. <br /> 14 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 15 There was Council direction to City Attorney to investigate the legal issues raised this <br /> 16 evening. <br /> 17 B. Councilmembers. <br /> 18 Marks reported the Sister City Committee has received an e-mail from the Salo, Finland Band <br /> 19 stating that they are pessimistic in regard to funding for their upcoming visit in April of 1998. <br /> 20 He also reported a call that he and the Chairman of the School Board participated in yesterday <br /> 21 to the Director of Cultural Affairs, Salo, Finland, requesting that the date of the upcoming trip <br /> 22 be moved ahead so travel will not be necessary over the Easter holiday. A reply has not yet <br /> 23 been received. <br /> 24 <br /> 25 C. Mayor. <br /> 26 Mayor Ranallo reported he was unable to attend the Cable Meeting on November 6 as he was <br /> 27 attending a special Council Meeting. However, the City of St. Anthony was complimented at <br /> 28 the Cable Meeting for their election coverage. Mayor Ranallo stated he has spoken with the <br /> 29 person who ran the camera that evening and he is available to help televise the Council <br /> 30 meeting. The City is currently determining the cost and details of televising the Council <br /> 31 meetings. <br />
