City Council Meeting Minutes <br /> November 9, 1999 <br /> Page 9 <br /> 1 other words, replacing the watermain now would help to eliminate the potential for future <br /> 2 watermain breaks. <br /> 3 Motion by Marks, second by Thuesen, to approve Resolution 99-066, which states that the City <br /> 4 of St. Anthony hereby approves the Plans as submitted by Ramsey County, for the Silver Lake <br /> 5 Road Bridge Reconstruction Project. <br /> 6 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 7 Motion by Marks, second by Faust, to approve the agreement known as Agreement 99013 be- <br /> 8 tween Ramsey County Cooperative and the City of St. Anthony that pertains to the Silver Lake <br /> 9 Bridge Reconstruction Project, contingent upon satisfactory review and approval by the City <br /> 10 Attorney. <br /> 11 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 12 Ranallo thanked Mr. Soler for his presentation and input to the meeting. Ranallo remembered <br /> 13 that this project was started about four years ago. Faust commented that he and Mr. Soler had <br /> 14 first talked about this project in 1991. Marks thanked Mr. Soler for agreeing to work with the <br /> 15 City on clearing out the sidewalks. <br /> 16 B. Contract for Cleaning Services for City Hall Facility (Resolution 99-067). <br /> 17 Motion by Cavanaugh, second by Thuesen, to approve Resolution 99-067, stating that the City of <br /> 18 St. Anthony approves the Contract for cleaning services for the City Hall/Community Center <br /> 19 with Compton's Commercial Cleaning, Inc. and authorizes the Mayor and City Manager to <br /> 20 execute said Contract on behalf of the City. <br /> 21 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 22 C. Ordinance 99-007, re: Amendment to Personnel Policy (1 st reading) <br /> 23 Marks asked if the amendment was a Staff recommendation, and Mornson clarified that it was. <br /> 24 He further stated that City Attorney Bill Soth is reviewing the amendment. <br /> 25 Motion by Marks, second by Faust,to approve the first reading of the Amendment to Personnel <br /> 26 Policy. <br /> 27 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 28 D. City Manager Review. <br /> 29 Ranallo stated that it is customary in November for the Council to designate two members to <br /> 30 carry out a performance review for the City Manager, determine goals for the following year, and <br /> 31 provide recommendations for a raise in salary. <br />
