37 <br /> Section 16 - C2 Commercial <br /> 16 .01 Purer ose. The C2 District is intended to provide areas for retail sales and service, <br /> high density office development with adequate space to meet the needs of modern high-tech <br /> offices including off-street parking, off-street loading of trucks to allow for office and <br /> commercial uses to be located in close proximity to one another and to permit the joint use of <br /> parking facilities,provide for certain light industrial enterprises engaged in such activities as <br /> assembly, storage, warehousing and light manufacturing not associated with high levels of noise, <br /> odor, dust or other nuisance impacts upon adjoining properties, and in an area such to allow for <br /> ingress and egress to major transportation facilities. <br /> 16 .02 Permitted Uses. The following are uses permitted within the C2 District: <br /> (a) All permitted uses within the C District. <br /> (b) Office uses that include, but are not limited to,the following: <br /> i. Governmental. <br /> ii. Professional. <br /> iii. .Medical. <br /> iv. Consulting. <br /> V. Insurance. <br /> vi. Employment. <br /> vii. Computer and computer software related services. <br /> viii. Other office uses delineated as permitted, conditional or accessory uses in <br /> other subdivisions herein. <br /> (c) Educational facilities, including business and trade schools. <br /> (d) Engraving and printing. <br /> (e) Non-residential studios. <br /> (f) Warehousing, wholesaling and distribution. <br /> (g) Research and development facilities, including laboratories (except for medical <br /> research and testing facilities which use animals). <br />
