CALL TO ORDER: <br /> 5 Mayor Cavanaugh called the meeting to order at 7:45 p.m. <br /> 6 II. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE. <br /> 7 Mayor Cavanaugh invited the Council and the audience to join in the Pledge of Allegiance. <br /> 8 III. ROLL CALL. <br /> 9 Councilmembers present: Mayor Cavanaugh; Councilmembers Sparks, Thuesen, Horst and <br /> 1 o Hodson <br /> 11 Councilmembers absent: None. <br /> 12 Also present: City Manager Michael Mornson. <br /> 13 IV. APPROVAL OF SEPTEMBER 26, 2000 CITY COUNCIL REGULAR MEETING <br /> 14 AGENDA. <br /> 15 Motion by Hodson to approve the September 12, 2000 City Council Regular Meeting Agenda as <br /> 16 presented. <br /> .� Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 18 V. PROCLAMATIONS AND RECOGNITIONS. <br /> 19 None. <br /> 20 VI. COMMUNITY FORUM. <br /> 21 Mayor Cavanaugh called for anyone from the audience-that would like to discuss an issue that is <br /> 22 not on the usual agenda. <br /> 23 Jaye Berk;, 3108 33rd Avenue, wanted to make an announcement. She stated that she has seen <br /> 24 advertising for a band that will be playing at the High School on September 28. She wanted to <br /> 25 encourage everyone to attend and noted that tickets could be purchased at the Community Cen- <br /> 26 ter, as well as at the event and from certain individuals throughout the City. <br /> 27 Mayor Cavanaugh thanked Ms. Berg for her announcement. <br /> 28 VII. CONSENT AGENDA. <br /> 29 Cavanaugh requested that the Motor Vehicle Starting License request from Twin Cities <br /> 30 Transport& Recovery be removed from the Consent Agenda. Sparks asked that the minutes be <br /> 31 removed from the Consent Agenda as well. <br /> •'A2 Cavanaugh invited Ms. Rene Gartis, owner of Twin Cities Transport& Recovery, to address the <br /> ,3 Council.
