These expenses have been and will be paid by
way of cash outlay by the owner. This includes all of the preparation work of a marketing
survey, consultants fees, design work, legal preparation, advertising, and any payroll before
opening.
Build-out costs of$400,000 are anticipated and will be paid for by way of a secured loan
through US Bank. These expenses involve completely retrofitting the facility in fiunishing the
locker rooms, carpeting the floors, the group fitness floor, steam-room, sauna, sun-bed, office,
computers, child care area, and sandwich/juice bar area.
Equipment needs will require another$250,000 and will be acquired by way of secured loan
or possibly a lease. The equipment has not yet been finalized. The names of the potential
pieces include Cybex,Precor, Life Fitness, Stairmaster, and Keiser. These are the front
runners. I may be looking into other manufacturers as I work with employees and listen to the
"wants" of the membership. I believe it is important to provide a variety for the members
because one line does not have all the answers.
Page 1
