925.04 Leasing. No person shall engage in the business of leasing motor vehicles to <br /> others for use on the property of the lessor, or charging or authorizing another <br /> person to charge for allowing a motor vehicle to be operated on public or private <br /> property within the City without first obtaining approval of the Council. <br /> 925.05 Ekceptions. The.provisions of this Section do not apply to snowmobiles or to: <br /> golf carts while operated on golf courses. <br /> Section 930 - TRUCK RESTRICTIONS <br /> 930.01 Trucks Prohibited on Certain Streets. <br /> Subd. 1. Weight Regulations. No person may operate or cause to be operated <br /> any vehicle having a gross weight in excess of 9,000 pounds, other than a <br /> `� GNS public transportation vehicle, upon any roadway in the City without a permit <br /> from the City, unless the roadway is designated a state or county roadway or <br /> truck route, or unless necessary for the purpose of delivering or removing <br /> goods or materials to or from premises abutting the roadway. <br /> Subd. 2. Residential Areas. No person may stop, ark or leave a vehicle in <br /> excess_ nnn nn,incic unatten on a roa way or on public or private <br /> property,in any area-zoned residential•for a period of more than two hours <br /> between the hours of.6:00 p.m..and 6:00 a.m.-except that a.property owner is. <br /> allowed'to park on the owner's property a maximum of one camping or <br /> recreational type vehicle and is allowed to operate such vehicle upon City <br /> roadways for the purpose of ingress and egress to the property. <br /> 930.02 State Aid Roads Excepted. State aid roads within the corporate limits of this <br /> City, other than St. Anthony Boulevard, are excepted from the provisions of this <br /> Section. <br /> 930.03 Seasonal Load Restrictions. The Director of Public Works may prohibit the <br /> operation of vehicles upon all roadways including state aid roads, or impose <br /> restrictions as to the weight of vehicles to be operated on all roadways, whenever a <br /> roadway, by reason of deterioration; rain, snow, or other. climatic conditions will be <br /> seriously-damaged or destroyed unless the use of vehicles on it is prohibited or the . <br /> permissible weight'allowed is reduced. The Director of Public Works will post signs <br /> plainly indicating the prohibition or restriction at each end of the affected roadway. <br /> 930.04 Gross Weight Stencil Required. It is unlawful for any person to operate a <br /> truck within the limits of this City without having the gross weight of the vehicle <br /> for which the license tax is paid stenciled in a conspicuous place on each side of the <br /> vehicle in letters not less than 2-1/2 inches high and 3/8 inch stroke in a color. <br /> giving a marked contrast with that of the part of the vehicle on which it is.placed, <br /> 9-9 <br />
