Hall, Assistant City Manager _�j t <br /> i <br /> SUBJECT: Wiggins Variance Request <br /> Requested Action: <br /> July 20 is the public hearing for the side yard variance request of Dave and Lisa <br /> Wiggins, 3200 Skycroft Drive. The Planning Commission's recommendation will be <br /> forwarded to the City Council for their July 27 meeting. <br /> Background: <br /> Dave and Lisa Wiggins are requesting a side yard variance of 12 feet for an addition to <br /> their home. City code requires that a side yard adjacent to a street must be at least 45 <br /> feet wide (30 feet plus the 15 feet street easement/public right of way). The 15 X 25 foot <br /> proposed addition would put their home within 33 feet of 32nd Avenue. <br /> The Petition for Variance attached describes the request and hardships, etc. Last <br /> month, Mr. Wiggins visited with the Planning Commission about the request when he <br /> came forward for a concept review. <br /> Attachment: <br /> Petition for Variance <br />
