Old Business <br /> A. League of Women Voters "Know Your Community" booklet. We dis- <br /> cussed this request earlier but took no action. According to <br /> present projection there are adequate funds in the Council ' s <br /> . contingency to pay for this if the Council determines we should. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> B. Discussion of announcement type sign on corner by City Hall . <br /> The Kiwanis Club and others have inquired about an announcement <br /> board being installed by the City to announce public events. If <br /> the Council feels such a project is worthwhile, I will discuss <br /> with the Kiwanis and other civic groups the possibility of <br /> partially funding the project. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> 8 . New Business <br /> A. Sam Nilva - National Amusement Company Re : Amusement Machine <br /> Ordinance. Mr. Nilva will be at the meeting to discuss . <br /> 9 . Communications/Petitions <br /> A. Discussion of rescheduling December Council meetins to lst and <br /> 3rd Tuesdays to avoid having meetings between Christmas and <br /> New Years . If we would reschedule the December meetings to lst <br /> and 3rd, we would not have to have a meeting on December 28th or <br /> between Christmas and New Years , when many residents , Council <br /> members and staff are very busy. In addition, we would have a <br /> meeting every 2 weeks for the remainder of the year, with <br /> November having 5 Tuesdays . <br /> ' ACTION: Council <br />
