We have advised <br /> him that we cannot do this as we have no way of predicting <br /> whether the zoning ordinance might be changed, etc. The <br /> zoning ordinance as is , would allow the house to be built. <br /> The staff has advised Mr. Preussner that if he bought the <br /> lot now and the ordinance was changed that he would be pro- <br /> tected by law or could probably get a variance but he insists <br /> he must have a written assurance and I don't feel that I <br /> can give him an absolute assurance without Council author- <br /> ization. <br /> .
