The Commission sees no benefit to be derived from making <br /> 29 the property R-2 at this time. <br /> 30 Motion carried unanimously. <br /> 31 The Chair reminded those present that the Council makes the final <br /> 32 decision and strongly advised all who were interested to attend the <br /> 33 February 24th meeting where the proposal would be given another <br /> 34 hearing. She commended the neighbors for keeping aware of the <br /> 35 notices and coming to the hearing to have their concerns heard. <br /> 36 Later in the evening Mr. Childs advised the Commissioners that the <br /> 37 applicant did not contact him until after he had already purchased the <br /> 38 property.
