• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> May 3 , 1980 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 10 :00 A.M. <br /> Present: Haik, Sundland, Letourneau, Ranallo, Marks <br /> Also present: Fornell, City Manager <br /> The Council discussed the recent developments in the Johnson <br /> Wholesale Florist, Inc. lawsuit. An earlier discussion with <br /> the Special City Attorney seemed to indicate no alternative <br /> but to issue the building permit, as ordered. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by..'Councilman Ranallo <br /> to direct the Special City Attorney to withdraw the appeal <br /> to the Minnesota Supreme Court._ <br /> There was some discussion amongst the Council and residents <br /> regarding lighting, cleanliness and other apsects of the <br /> expansion. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by .Mayor Haik, seconded by Councilman Sundland to <br /> direct that a building permit for the .greenhouse expansion <br /> plans of July 15, 1978 be issued pursuant to Court orders <br /> of October 30 , 1979 and April 16 , 1980. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> There being no further business, motion by Councilman Marks, <br /> seconded by Councilman Sundland to adjourn. <br /> 1. <br /> Motion carried unanimously, meeting adjourned at 10 :20 A.M. <br /> M r <br /> . <br /> ATTEST: Vin/ <br /> Clerk <br /> JWF/cjk <br />
