The Administrative Assistant said the elder Saliterman had contacted the City offices for a meeting with staff regarding the center. Mayor Haik expressed the Council ' s appreciation of the "quality and quantity of the work" *the Commission had accomplished during their meeting. The meeting was recessed at 9 :10 P.M: and resumed at 9 :20 P.M. to hear the presentation of Dick Krier of 'Westwood Planning and Engineer- ing' Co. , 7415 Wayzata Boulevard, for his firm's proposal for providing community development consultation to the City. This is one of three proposals the Council has sought for providing the expertise the Council may need in the area of .redevelopment in the future. Follow- ing the presentation and a question and answer period, the Council thanked Mr. Krier for his insights and input. Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Letourneau . to adopt Resolution 80-035. RESOLUTION 80-035 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE SWEEPING AGREEMENT WITH RAMSEY COUNTY FOR 1980 Motion carried unanimously. Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Mayor Haik to direct the Manager to prepare a new sewer ordinance with rate calculations modified as per the recommendations of Mr. Fornell May 21, 1980 . ORDINANC. 1980-003 AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO SEWER RATES AND CHARGES AMENDING ;:EC:TION 540 :00 OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES Motion carried unanimously. The Police Department report for March, 1980 was ordered filed. Motion by Mayor Haik and seconded b17 Councilman Sundland to grant a heating license to Egan and Sons Co.
