ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> September 18, 1980 <br /> The meeting was called. to .order at 7 :05 P.M. by Mayor Pro Tem Sundland. <br /> Present: Sundland, Letourneau, Marks, Ranallo. <br /> Absent: 'Haik. <br /> . Also present: Fornell, Hickerson and Johnson of .the City staff . <br /> Chief Hickerson led the Council in .a long discussion about the <br /> police department. . The major .topics were: <br /> (1) Manning levels and staffing. <br /> (2) Programs offered the public. <br /> (3) Crime rates and trends . <br /> (4) Investigative caseloads. <br /> (5) Training .and. equipment needs. <br /> (6)' Youth relations. <br /> (7) Volunteer activities. : <br /> Motion by Ranallo, seconded by Marks to adjourn at 9 :30 P.M. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. .. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br />
