ANTHONY <br /> BUDGET MEETING <br /> October 7 , 1980 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 :10 P.M. by Mayor Haik. <br /> Present for roll-call : Haik, Marks, Ranallo. and Letourneau. <br /> Absent: Sundland. <br /> Also present: Jim Fornell..' City Manager and Carol Johnson, Clerk/ <br /> Treasurer. <br /> The budgetmeeting was opened by a presentation by the City Manager. <br /> Highlights of things accomplished in the past few years and things <br /> to be accomplished in the coming few years were discussed.. <br /> Topic: "State of the City" . <br /> Categories covered in the presentation were: <br /> • (1) Fiscal conditions of the City. <br /> (2). Administrative functions. <br /> (3) Community development and planning. <br /> (4) Inspection services. <br /> (5) Liquor operations. <br /> (6) Public works. <br /> (7) Fire department. <br /> (8) Police department. <br /> (9) Advisory committees. <br /> After the Manager's presentation, the Council requested copies of the <br /> presentation. Councilman Ranallo thought they would be very helpful <br /> in preparing for the open house on November 19th. <br /> The following budget modifications were recommended by the City <br /> Manager with a brief explanation of each modification. <br /> General Fund <br /> • Revenues - as per attached sheet. <br /> Appropriations - as per attached sheet. <br />
