4W <br /> CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> November 7., 1980 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 5:15 P.M. by Mayor Haik. <br /> Present: . Letourneau, Ranallo, Sundland, Marks and Haik. <br /> Absent: None. <br /> Also present: Jim Fornell, City Manager. <br /> City Manager Fornell explained the insurance proposals for the <br /> liquor operation, cost trends, and problems with the Dram Shop Act <br /> coverage. He recommended the Council accept the proposal of <br /> Alexander and Alexander with a supplemental $200,000 policy to raise <br /> the primary limits on the liquor liability and the optional safe <br /> coverage. <br /> Motion by Mayor Haik, seconded .by Councilman Sundland to accept the <br /> Alexander and Alexander proposal as submitted with the optional <br /> liquorliability and safe coverages . <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> City Manager Fornell explained a .sewer problem with a profile sketch <br /> and recommended adoption of Resolution 80-078 . <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland seconded by Councilman Marks to <br /> approve Resolution 80-078 . <br /> RESOLUTION 80-078 <br /> A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1980 BUDGET <br /> Motion-..carried unanimously. <br /> City Manager Fornell explained the need to purchase the Minitors <br /> now to save money. They will be paid out of the 1981 budget. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Ranallo <br /> to approve purchase, up to $8,900 for Minitors, subject to passing <br /> a reception test. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Council discussed various locations and formats for the dinner, <br /> January 17 , 1981. <br /> • It was decided to hold it at Arthur' s, with a selection of four <br /> menu items. <br />
