CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> SPECIAL MEETING <br /> November 12 , 1980 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 :02 P.M. <br /> Present.: Marks, Sundland, Haik,. Ranallo, Letourneau. <br /> Absent: None. <br /> Also Present, Jim Fornell., City Manager. <br /> The City Council interviewed Mr. Lloyd Graven of the economic <br /> research. firm of- Economic Research. Corporation,.-. Inc-. ;. Lee Munich, <br /> Richard Slettebaugh, and Arsen Darney of Midwest Research Insti- <br /> tute; and Arijs- Pakalns and Bill Weber of B.R.W. , Inc-. <br /> The interviews were comprised of a presentation by each consultant <br /> as to his proposal and questions by Council members concerning <br /> various facets of the proposals and general questions on the <br /> redevelopment/revitalization process . <br /> The Council had no requested changes in Resolution 80-081 - <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE DETAILED PLAN AND FINAL PLAN FOR A <br /> PORTION. OF THE HEDLUND PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT UNDER SECTION 13 <br /> OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY. <br /> The Council discussed adult bookstores -and sauna parlors, the current <br /> status of legal regulation of them and concluded that for the time <br /> being the City does not permit their uses under the zoning ordinance. <br /> It was recognized that an ordinance to be' legal may not be strong <br /> enough and. if legal, the present fine is -only $100 per,violat-ion <br /> occurence. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks, seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> adjourn at 10 : 25 P.M. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br /> James W.
