ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> April 1, 1981 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 4 : 55 P.M. <br /> Present: Marks, Haik, Ranallo, Letourneau. <br /> Absent: Sundland. <br /> The Council discussed the search process for . a new City Manager <br /> and the transition period. <br /> Discussion ensued on the contents of an advertisement for the <br /> vacancy. The consensus wasthat a degree is desired, management <br /> experience preferred and that the salary is negotiable with the <br /> current salary stated. <br /> Motion by Mayor Haik and seconded by Councilman Marks to direct the <br /> Manager to place ads and to .establish a cut-off date of May 30 , <br /> 1981 . <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Marks, Haik, Letourneau <br /> • Nay: Ranallo <br /> Motion carried. <br /> It was also decided that a Council "committee of the whole" will review <br /> the applications. <br /> A special Council meeting is to be set for Tuesday, April 7 , 1981 <br /> at 7 : 00 P.M. to develop a profile of abilities, education, and qualities <br /> desired and to discuss transition staffing.
