Mr. Hamer in <br /> his September. 15th memorandum. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and .seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve payment of .$1,039 . 50. to Hennepin County for taxes on the <br /> rental portion of the old City Hall at 2800 Kenzie Terrace N.E. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded .by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve payment of $8,625 to Adrian S . Helgeson & Co'. for the 1980 <br /> City audit and accounting services. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Hamer 'advised. that the change order for base aggregate for <br /> Anthony Lane North should be No. 2.,rather than No. 1 and his <br /> rebommendations .regarding acceptance of the change .order and payment <br /> for the aggreg.ate .testing were accepted, in the following: <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> accept Change Order No. 2 for base material for the base course <br /> on the Anthony Lane North project and to approve payment of $70 .00 <br /> • to Twin City Testing. - <br /> Motion carried- unanimously. <br /> Councilman Marks commented on the number- of tickets issued daily <br /> by the Police Department before .the Department's July report was <br /> ordered filed. <br /> Mr. Childs presented the request from the St. Anthony. Civic Orchestra <br /> to serve 3 .2 beer during their concert- at Apache .Plaza Sunday even- <br /> ing October 18th. The City liquor store is cooperating with the <br /> Apache Merchants. Association in serving: beverages. during the week- <br /> long anniversary celebration at Apache and Mr. Soth- .confirmed that, <br /> although the City cannot sell . alcholic. beverages 'on Sunday, state <br /> law does permit. a private organization to do so. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Sundland <br /> to waive the .fees and grant a temporary. beer license to the St. <br /> Anthony Civic Orchestra for their OKTOBER TANZFEST, .Sunday, October 18 , <br /> 1981. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Letourneau., Sundland, and Ranallo. <br /> Abstention: Marks . <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Manager .said reservations .should be made through staff for the <br /> seminar sponsored. by the League of Minnesota Cities in Shakopee , <br /> September 30th. <br />
