\ CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> ` March 22, 1983 <br /> The meeting was opened with the Pledge of Allegiance led by Mayor <br /> Sundland at 8: 03 P.M. <br /> Present for roll call ; Marks , Ranallo, Sundland, Letourneau, and <br /> Enrooth. <br /> Also present : David Childs, City Manager; Larry Hamer, Public Works <br /> Director; and Don Hickerson, Police Chief. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman .Enrooth to <br /> approve as submitted the minutes for the Council meeting held March <br /> 1, 1983. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Marks and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> approve a Bingo license for the American Legion Post #513; bowling <br /> alley and vending licenses- for St. Anthony Lanes , Inc. and Minneapolis <br /> Bowl, Inc. ; a vending license for. Larry ' s Wash; a heating license for <br /> ABC Appliance & Heating- Co. ; and a service station license for Total <br /> Automotive Inc. , as listed in the March 22, 1983 Council agenda. <br />��_.' •. Motion carried unanimously. <br /> - The Manager pointed out that all the businesses seeking beer or wine <br /> license renewals are now required to carry Dram Shop insurance which <br /> many proprietors complain is very expensive. That may be to the <br /> City ' s advantage, Councilman Ranallo said, since serious thought would <br /> have to be given to- undertaking such a business now. Chief Hickerson <br /> confirmed that the Police Department had checked each applicant for <br /> beer, wine or amusement devices licensesand had reported no problems <br /> in the past significant enough. to warrant not renewing the licenses . <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to <br /> renew the 3. 2 on-sale beer licenses for the Bowl-O-Mat, Legion Post <br /> #513; .Vincenzo' s restaurant; Gross Colf Course and St. Anthony Lanes , <br /> Inc. , as listed in the March 22 , 1983 Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Ranallo and seconded by Councilman Enrooth to renew <br /> amusement devices licenses for 18 devices for Treasure Island; 20 <br /> devices for Chick' s Billiards, and 8 devices for St. Anthony Lanes , <br /> as listed in the March 22 , 1983 Council agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Letourneau and seconded by Councilman Ranallo to <br /> renew cigarette licenses for Chick' s Billiards; St. Anthony Lanes; _ <br /> \_ Minneapolis Bowl-O-Mat; Olson' s Superette, Inc. ; SG Coffee Shop, Inc. ; <br /> Total Automotive Inc. ; Vincenzo's restaurant; Gross Golf Course; and <br /> the two City Red Owl stores , as listed in the March 22 , 1983 Council <br /> agenda. <br />
